School Fees 2024

The Finance Department at Alberton High School is headed by Ms. D. Looyen and Ms. B. van Staden under the guidance of senior management team and the school governing body. The core function of the finance department at our school is control all monies and payments that come into the school.

Alberton High School is a CASH-FREE facility which extends to The Blues Café.

School Fees & Payment Structure

School fees for 2025 were set at R24 610 at the AGM held on 22 October 2024. There are three options for paying fees:

  • 10 equal monthly instalments of R2461 payable on the 1st of each month. Fees to be paid up by the end of October 2025
  • A lump sum payment will receive the following discount:
  • 10% discount if paid in full by 31 January 2025. Total amount payable is R22 149.
  • 7,5% discount if paid in full by 28 February 2025. Total amount payable is R22 764,25.
  • 5% discount if paid in full by 31 March 2025. Total amount payable is R23 379,50.
  • Debit order: this will run from January – December, this will include the re-enrolment for the following year.

There is an annual re-enrolment fee for the following year. This re-enrolment fee is a down payment on the school fees for the following year. Date for this payment to be confirmed.

There are various options for paying fees:

  • Card facility (Diners and American Express are not accepted) at the finance office.
  • Deposit/EFT into our bank account. Please use your child’s name and surname as the reference. (Proof of payment can be emailed to: accounts@alberton.gp.school.za or belinda@alberton.gp.school.za)
  • Alberton High School Debit Order. (Will run for 12 months and includes the re-enrolment fee for the following year.) There is a written authority and mandate for debit payment instruction included in the folder. Only parents who would like to make use of the debit order option, must contact the Finance Office to complete the relevant form.

Karri System

Karri is a mobile payment app that allows you to make quick payments for school events. Instead of sending children to school with envelopes of cash for civvies days and class outings, you’re able to make fast payments of exact amounts straight to your school.

Note that the Karri School Payments system will not be utilised for school fees. Throughout the year the Finance Department will update the list of school events (on the schools Karri platform) that can be paid via Karri.
