Keep checking back here regularly to stay up-to-date with all the events and happenings at Alberton High School.
Alberton High School has a sense of commitment and a love for our Community.
At the end of the second term an Easter Party is held for the 300 small children from children homes.
This year Educators together with Learners from Alberton High prepared a lunch, and handed out Easter Eggs and sweets to each child at the Othandweni Charity.
To drive the collection of eggs, the Welfare Learners hid a Chocolate Hamper somewhere on the school grounds, and participating learners had to follow three very difficult clues to enable them to find the Chocolate Hamper. The hamper was eventually found.
The collection of Easter Eggs was extremely successful and we collected over 1000 Easter eggs, which we packaged with some sweets to take to the children.
We are very thankful to all the Learners and Parents of Alberton High School who contributed to the success of the Drive.
The day is thoroughly enjoyed by all the children and the Welfare Councillors look forward to the next Event later on in the year.
The aim of the South African Computer Olympiad is to identify learners who have the aptitude to study further in this field as well as to encourage proficiency in computer programming among learners.
We are very proud of our participants at Alberton High.
