Developing our Future Leaders

“You have to say yes to begin things. You have to say yes to your beliefs. You have to say yes to big dreams. You have to say yes to difficult challenges. Are you ready to say yes to leadership? When you are ready to say yes, doors will open to entirely new adventures in your life. When you are ready to say yes, people will join you on your quest. When you say yes, you will discover your own truth about leadership.”
- James Kouzes and Barry Posner, The Truth About Leadership, Summaries.com

Alberton High is proud to say that we do say YES to leadership.

The school shares in the beliefs that learners should say yes to big dreams and to leadership, and the school joins the quest of the learners to discover their own truths about leadership.

Opportunities to be part of leadership-development at the school are offered to grade 9 – 11 learners by giving them the opportunity to attend an annual camp where professional facilitators assist in developing the potential and skills of all the participants in their personal leadership development.

The camps help develop and identify leaders through active participation in various activities aimed at achieving clear ideas and goals regarding leadership and the implementation thereof.
